Intro to SIOP Part 2

(Part 2 of 2. Participants must register for both sessions.) This brief overview of the SIOP Model will give participants a look at all eight components of the research-based framework, as well as instructional techniques connected to each of these components. Participants will leave with a clear idea of how to use the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol to develop and deliver lessons that will meet the needs of English learners by developing their content knowledge and academic language skills at the same time.
